I recently went to see Plus 44 at Southampton. One of the support bands was a group from Sweden called "The Sounds" They're pretty much a total Blondie rip off heh heh, but I really thought they were good. They're a bit heavier than Blondie but you can tell that's where their influence comes from. They've become one of my favourite bands just after hearing one album (they have 3 I think) Check 'em out www.myspace.com/thesounds or the-sounds.com/. I reccommend the songs "Painted by Numbers" "Living in America" and "Tony The Beat"

^ Nice!! Their lead singer is bit crazy, but she sings well. are +44 good live? i'm seeing them in April... haha i haven't actually even heard any of +44's stuff yet... but yeah... i was a huge Blink fan back in the day. As far as live music goes. They were totally on form I thought. Lots of energy, no shitty front and in key. I was never really a massive Blink fan, and I really don't like Angle's & Airwaves, but Plus 44 have become one of my top bands as of late. The mix of electro beats and keyboards is a real nice touch and a breath of fresh air.

Tom's a shitty singer, even back when he was with Blink i prefered the songs that Mark sang. I got A&A's cd for free from some radio thing(XD the local rock station always gives free cd's away outside concerts and if you can answer a trivia question and it's always the same question), and i still haven't listened to the whole thing.. it's so sucktacular.
